Welcome to a challenge of skill, speed, and innovation! The ZWSOFT CAD Competition 2025 invites undergraduate students from around the globe to demonstrate their expertise in mechanical design. Within a dynamic 24-hour period, contestants will use ZWSOFT specified software to create mechanical designs.

02 Competition Design Tasks and Criteria
Competition Criteria for each design task
Competition Design Tasks
Your submissions will be evaluated based on criteria that reflect the core values of mechanical design excellence. The criteria includes:
Correctness
Integrity and correctness of model/drawing. Features and annotations should completely meet the design requirement
Technical Skill
Proficiency and accuracy in using ZWSOFT software.
Engineering Drawing Knowledge and competency
Ability to read and create professional engineering drawing.
Aesthetics
Visual appeal and overall design presentation
Innovation
Originality and creativity in solving design challenges

Task A: 2D Mechanical Drawing (using ZWCAD MFG)
Task B: 3D Modeling (using ZW3D Education)
Choose from Task A, Task B, or take the challenges of both. All contestants are required to finish the competition independently and using the specified ZWSOFT software.

1.By entering this competition, contestants acknowledge that ZWSOFT CO., LTD. (Guangzhou) holds the copyright to their submissions and has the exclusive right to publicize, publish, and exhibit them. The company retains all rights to use these submissions without providing credit or compensation to contestants or any other parties.
2.ZWSOFT CO., LTD. (Guangzhou) reserves the right to disqualify contestants and their submissions, as well as to determine, modify, withhold, suspend, or withdraw any competition outcomes, prizes, or opportunities.
3.The competition terms are interpreted by ZWSOFT CO., LTD. (Guangzhou), and its interpretation is final. In case of disputes, the company reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the competition.
4.The entry form and competition terms are subject to the People’s Republic of China (P.R.C). In case of disputes, parties agree to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of P.R.C courts.
